Blog networking – The happy side effects

Network_169I’m sure we are all fully aware of the benefits of networking and leaving comments on other people’s blogs. For a start it’s a great way of gaining new visitors and backlinks to your own blog. Affiliate Progress Report – 6th Nov 09

snail_169This week just seems to have flown past! In this Affiliate Progress report, I would first like to congratulate myself on having maintained a consistent level of affiliate income for the past seven days. Yes, I’m afraid the flood gates into my bank account have as yet failed to open. However, this is only to be expected at this stage, and the up side is that I’m still continuing to learn, and more importantly, implementing what I’ve learned. (more…)

Effective search engine optimization

magnifyGlass169 In keeping with my aim of patiently developing and learning on my first few projects, and not rushing headlong into every idea I come up with; I’ve been re-addressing the search engine optimization on my first web-site project. I’ve been learning a great deal from Chris Rempel’s “Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate”, and whilst it’s not always easy or even interesting to reverse engineer and correct some of what I had already done, I’m trying to implement as much of his advice as I can.
